M. Sc.
Head of HR and Corporate Culture
I joined Meyer Seals in April 2018 as an HR Officer. Before that, I completed a master’s degree in Economics, Psychology, and Management. Quite early on in my studies, it became clear that I wanted to work in the HR field. The job posting from Meyer Seals came at exactly the right time. What stood out in this posting was that the company explicitly welcomed entry‑level candidates for the HR Officer position. Compared to other companies, this is rather unusual and quickly showed me that Meyer Seals takes a somewhat different, open, and very refreshing approach to recruitment. There is no rigid, carved‑in‑stone ideal profile of the future jobholder; instead, every applicant is given the chance to prove themselves and convince the company that he or she is the right candidate. Meyer Seals is therefore primarily looking for the ideal match in terms of attitude, commitment, and cultural fit.
But Meyer Seals takes a slightly different—and in my view very innovative—approach not only in recruitment. Anyone who thinks that you first need to spend a certain amount of time in the company before you can take on responsible (and cross‑functional) projects is mistaken. Every employee who shows dedication and enjoys driving change has the opportunity to do so at Meyer Seals FROM DAY ONE. I, too, was quickly entrusted with the role of Head of Vocational Training, which allowed me to broaden my range of responsibilities. In 2021, I was able to take on the newly created position of HR Business Partner. At the end of 2023, my role changed once again, and since then I have been heading the department.
Friends, family members, and acquaintances—often because of my position—frequently ask me what makes Meyer Seals an attractive company for applicants. In summary, my answer is usually this: Meyer Seals is a family‑oriented company that is not afraid to take unconventional paths. It gives opportunities and long‑term prospects to anyone who approaches their work with commitment, passion, and the desire to make a difference.
