Health management project team

Our active project team in the area of health management has been continuously analysing our health measures for four years, identifying new needs for action and actively looking for solutions. Last but not least, our specially trained Ergo-Scouts are regularly in active contact with all colleagues as an internal contact point for problems or requests.

In addition, colleagues who are ill have the opportunity to discuss individual health initiatives in confidential talks and to implement them with our support.
Our health package is rounded off with the option of free vaccinations, the offer of an e-bike lease and free membership of the Workout gym (in Alfeld and Elze). There, our colleagues have the opportunity to train independently, take part in an extensive range of courses or even relax in the sauna.

Health passport and bonus

Meyer Seals® is always interested in motivating its employees to keep themselves healthy and fit and/or to improve their health. For this reason, we developed a concept that rewards our colleagues for few days of absence and preventively for sporting activities.

All health-promoting measures can be entered in our health passport. Whether it's the kilometres cycled to work, participation in sporting events or taking a nutrition course - all health-promoting activities are taken into account in the Meyer Seals® health passport.

Focus on workplace design

A healthy workplace design is another core element of our health management.
Production and also the administration are air-conditioned, and there are additional lighting and shading concepts for some sub-areas. Even plants are gladly purchased based on the choices of the respective office teams.
Height-adjustable desks are provided to colleagues upon informal request; more advanced resources can also be provided after workplace ergonomics advice is offered.

In order to increasingly ease the burden of heavy physical work on our production team, lifting and standing aids were purchased for this area, for example.

In addition, we actively encourage our colleagues to communicate potential for improvement and thus identify further opportunities for action.

Help with psychological problems and care cases of relatives

For many people, psychological problems are still associated with feelings of shame and are therefore often treated too late. Often, however, early treatment - which may only involve a few counselling sessions - is particularly helpful.
Based on this conviction, Meyer Seals® has established a cooperation with the AMEOS Fachklinikum, a specialist hospital in Hildesheim - for a very quick initial and up to two follow-up consultations and contact in case of mental illness.

The occurrence of a care case with relatives is also a heavy psychological and organisational burden - applying for support services feels extraordinarily complicated.
For our colleagues, we have therefore concluded a cooperation for individual counselling in the event of care being required for their relatives.
