I was initially placed with Meyer Seals in April 2017 by a temporary employment agency, although I received my annual contract to transfer to the company in October of the same year. When using temporary staff, Meyer Seals places particular importance on treating them in the same way as permanent employees. Temporary workers are also taken on permanently very quickly if they demonstrate the right level of performance and degree of commitment in their work. Furthermore, company events are open not only to staff directly employed by Meyer Seals, but to all those who contribute to the success of the company. This made me feel immediately welcome at Meyer Seals and I instantly felt that I wanted to stay with the company for more than just a few months.
I am now a machine operator at the site in Alfeld and I am also regularly available to support the Limmer site (Alfeld) thanks to my packaging skills. I was very happy when Meyer Seals offered me a permanent contract in September 2018, and I signed immediately. What makes my job special for me is the range of different tasks on the machines and the production of the numerous and widely varied products.
Meyer Seals recognises the efforts of its employees and promotes them in a targeted manner. My personal highlight was taking part in the order-based four-shift phase in spring 2019. This gave me the opportunity to get to know many other staff members, because the group composition differed from the existing shift groups. I took away many experiences, which made a major impression on me, and I was able to get to know other members of the team. I also really value the close cooperation between the colleagues and supervisors on my shift. We all get on very well with each other and I feel I am in good hands here.
At Meyer Seals employees always feel appreciated - not only because everyone treats each other so well, but also thanks to the various added benefits provided by the company.
